I Thought Cardio Was Enough. Until My Strength Failed Me

You know those little moments, the kind you don’t see coming… but once they happen, you just can’t forget them?

That’s what happened to Illa.

She thought she was doing everything right. She was running, walking, following YouTube workouts… staying active, you know? But one day, reality changed everything.

Here’s her story in her words.

The Beginning With One Unexpected Moment

Hi, I’m Ila Jindal, a Chartered Accountant by profession and a certified Nutrition and Fitness Coach at FITTR. Like many people, I believed fitness was all about walking, running, or doing some cardio every now and then. I had no idea how important nutrition or protein was, especially for someone like me who ran marathons.

It all started when I decided to join an online fitness challenge. I was excited, ready to show up and give it my best. But during one of the tasks, I realized something shocking… I couldn’t even do a single full push-up. And that hit me. Hard.

I mean, I was active. I was “working out.” So why did I feel so weak? That one moment made me pause. It made me rethink everything I thought I knew about fitness.

Stronger With Every Rep: With INFS

I walked into a gym for the first time. Not going to lie… I was nervous. I had no clue what I was doing with weights. But I knew I had to start somewhere.

I hired a professional trainer. And slowly started learning the basics of resistance training. I started lifting. Week by week, my body felt different. Stronger. More in control. More alive. Even my focus improved. I was building strength. Building confidence.

As my body transformed, my curiosity grew. Why was resistance training working so well? Why did I feel more energized eating certain foods? And what did supplements actually do? I wanted to understand the “why” and “how” behind it all. That’s when I came across the Diploma in Nutrition and Fitness by INFS.

Learning the Knowledge Behind

I wasn’t from a science background, and the word “diploma” sounded serious.

For almost a year, I studied 2 to 3 hours every day. I attended live classes, revised modules again and again, and slowly started applying what I learned to my own routine. I learned about macros, micronutrients, RDAs, supplements, and how to build balanced meal plans. The diploma was practical, easy to follow, and completely based on real evidence and science-backed facts. I finally understood how the body works, how training and nutrition go hand in hand, and why one-size-fits-all never works in fitness.

And it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Now I Help Others Take Their First Step

Today, I get to guide people through their own journeys. Whether they’re beginners, busy professionals, or just confused by all the fitness noise online, I help them take that first step in the right direction.

If I had to give just one piece of advice, it would be this:

          | Don’t fall for random trends or flashy workouts on social media.

Everyone’s body is different. What worked for someone else may not work for you. So don’t guess your way through your health journey. Learn the science. Seek professional guidance. Invest in understanding why things work.

Because that’s what changed my life. And it might just change yours too!
