The Beginning
At 106 kilograms, Fateh Singh wasn’t just carrying extra weight—he was carrying the burden of serious health conditions. High cholesterol, rising blood pressure, and prediabetes were becoming a dangerous combination. But more than the medical reports, it was the constant lack of energy and the realization that life was slipping away that shook him.
Running to Lose Weight
Fateh first turned to distance running to lose weight. But over time, he realized that just running wasn’t enough. He needed to build strength, boost stamina, and improve overall wellness.
That’s when a co-runner introduced him to FITTR. And he soon came across INFS.
Turning To FITTR and INFS
In 2023, he decided to sign up for a FITTR coach and also enroll in the INFS Diploma in Nutrition and Fitness.
The INFS Diploma opened Fateh’s eyes to how the body works, how food and movement affect our health, and how most of what we believe about weight loss and fitness is full of myths. He learned how to filter out the “bro science” and focus on what actually works.
With the help of his coach and the science-based knowledge he gained from the course, Fateh created a plan that suited his life. There were no crash diets. No extreme workouts. Just consistent habits, smart nutrition, and an approach built on sustainability.
The result? Fateh lost 43 kgs, bringing his weight down to 63 kg. His stamina improved dramatically. He could run longer, lift heavier, and stay active throughout the day. More importantly, his blood reports came normal; normal cholesterol levels, healthy blood pressure, and no signs of prediabetes!
Balancing Life, Work, and Health
Being a working professional and a parent comes with its own challenges. There are deadlines, family responsibilities, and stress. But Fateh made sure his health didn’t take a backseat anymore. He fit workouts into his day and made better food choices without feeling restricted. He became an example for his kids, showing them that health is a priority, not an option.
As a certified fitness coach, Fateh uses his knowledge to educate others around him. He speaks about the importance of early screening for prediabetes, the role of sleep in managing weight, and how emotional eating often stems from poor stress management.
