He Carried More Than Just Weight: Until He Chose To Rebuilt Himself

We all have a moment like this. You try on your favorite jeans. But this time, they won’t even button up. You tug, pull, breathe in… but it’s no use. You stand there staring into the mirror, uncomfortable in your body, unsure of what you’ve become.

And then it hits you: “How did I let it get this far?”

That single moment, quiet and private, can leave a deep mark. About losing a version of yourself you once knew. A sign that something needs to change.

For Rahul Tilak, this moment came with a 36-inch waist and an uncomfortable shopping experience. At 86 kg, he wasn’t feeling like himself anymore. He wasn’t just carrying extra weight; he was carrying the burden of feeling stuck, tired, and out of sync with the person he used to be.

A Quiet Start With FITTR and INFS

In late 2021, a friend introduced him to FITTR. Initially, it was just supposed to be a six-month transformation with his coach. Nothing more. Just lose some weight, feel better, and get back on track. Nothing more. Just lose some weight, feel better, and get back on track.

He started small, cleaning up his eating habits, tracking food, and following a training routine. But what happened over those six months was far more powerful than he expected. Rahul had dropped 13 kg, now under 15% body fat, trimmed down to a 32-inch waist, and was gaining strength… physically and mentally.

He felt more focused. More alive. More grounded and confident. And for the first time in a long time, he felt proud of the person he saw in the mirror.

But for Rahul, the journey had just begun. He didn’t want to stop at “this works.” He wanted to know why it worked. What made one method better than the other? How did food, training, and the human body really function together? That curiosity led him to enroll in the Express Self-Study: Certified Nutrition and Fitness Coach Course by INFS. From understanding nutrition science to applying training principles, the course helped him build clarity, confidence, and a strong scientific foundation to guide others the right way. No guesswork. No quick fixes.

The study material and recorded lectures provided helped him prepare thoroughly for both the exams and the Free Training Program (FTP). The FTP gave Rahul invaluable hands-on experience by allowing him to work directly with real clients under expert guidance.

Fitness Becomes His Identity

Now, as a FITTR Coach, Rahul helps others who are where he once was—confused, overwhelmed, and searching for a change.

For him, fitness had become his lifestyle, his purpose, his identity. He still remembers his very first call as a mentee… nervous, doubts, with a list of questions and a heart full of hope. Today, he’s the one taking those calls with a heart full of gratitude.

“It’s a dream come true,” he says, with a quiet smile.
