Celebrating Women

A journey that never ends !!

Have you ever thought – we never lose, we just learn from the experiences.

My journey started when I met with an accident that fractured my face. It made me so weak that I was not able to stand for 10 minutes and I was not able to do my daily activities. So, what I learned here was that fitness is just having a better physique but being able to effortlessly do the daily chores.

I tried a lot of fad diets, made myself weaker, and suffered blackouts. This affected me psychologically and invited one more problem that was IBS ( irritable bowel syndrome). So, my long tours to the bathroom got me even more frustrated. I wanted some direction but there was no proper guidance except for some Google information and some bro-science from everybody, including friends, relatives, and especially, nosy aunties.

My health took a toll in 2017, and I started going to the gym. I just took a membership for one month to see whether I will be able to continue it or not. But, to my surprise, I almost did consistently exercise for two years, and I got a lot better. In 2019, I participated in FPL and that took my confidence to the next level. This led to my enrollment in the EXPERT AND NUTRITION COURSE which I completed in three months with another month dedicated for FTP.

Do you really think the journey was so smooth?  Let me tell you.

In 2018, I was engaged to a guy who mentally broke me down. He had commitments towards others. That year, I was completely drained, physically and mentally, but I never stopped working on myself.  My health again took a toll, and I called off my wedding.  Yeah, I did that! And, I left my job. Using a little bit of my savings, I started my certification.

After completion of the certification, I started giving diets and workout regimes to my family and friends, helped many people, and felt everything was sorted. In 2020, I got married, and here comes a huge lot of responsibilities. I am married in a joint family comprising of 10 people. I was at my best, physically and mentally, but what was going to happen, I didn’t know.

I got injured and had a severe back injury that led me to bed rest for two months. With no activity and overeating, I gained a lot of weight. I started my rehabilitation after four months and did my best again. So, what was the summary of the journey? It is that the journey never ends. You will face obstacles in the journey. But, you need to keep moving on and on.
