Small disciplines repeated with consistency everyday lead to great achievements – John
Truly said, if we focused on one day at a time, it acts up to big results.
Sharing about my journey, I was a healthy kid during my childhood until my teenage. But whilst my higher studies and college became a priority in life, health & fitness went on a back seat.
I never ever realized I was underweight (47 kgs) and it didn’t bother me during that time. Many times I was being teased as skinny, clothes hanger, etc., etc. on the other hand some also liked it and said “Good yaar, you eat whatever you want and still don’t put on any pounds” and that became my comfort zone.
Later during my job and staying in a hostel there was no choice of healthy food options plus additionally outdoor junk food, weekend parties, etc with no physical activities, I started gaining some kilos.
Further, after marriage, I was enjoying the new phase of life and the journey of putting on weight continued (56 kgs). So my daily routine was EAT, SLEEP REPEAT.
Then, after 2 years when I delivered my first child, my weighing scale indicated my weight on the higher side (70 kg).
Later, due to my husband’s job, we had to move abroad. There started my real struggle. New country, new role as a mother, new food culture, new responsibilities, etc., etc. during all this I never realized that I was suffering from post-partum depression.
I started experiencing lower back pain, poor eating habits, often fatigue, low self-esteem, etc.
Due to all this, my friends started making fun of me, if I was pregnant again?
THAT HIT ME HARD..!!! and that made me wake up from my comfort zone and decide to take authority over my health.
Then I started to cut down my calorie intake, drinking lemon honey warm water under impression that this will cause me to lose weight but it FAILED!!
One fine day I heard about SQUTAS (May 2017) and decided to immediately enroll under a coach, which now I consider as the best decision of my life.
When I was getting positive results, I got motivated and stayed consistent with my diet & workout.
I transformed not only physically but also mentally and live a healthy balanced life with a weight from 66 kgs to 55 kgs along with visible inch loss.
This got me motivated and I decided to learn more about the science-based approach for health & fitness. I enrolled in the F+E course (INFS) and successfully completed them.
“The ideal career is when your great passion meets the world’s great need”
Keeping this in mind I initiated my own service to guide & educate friends, family, and others about the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
So far I have guided more than 80 people and educated a lot more than that. One of my achievements I consider is when I was invited as a guest to guide people on a healthy lifestyle during a community program.
I was able to maintain my weight until my second pregnancy (56 kgs). Currently, I’m on my mid-way transformation after my 2nd delivery, so far reduced from 69 kgs to 59 kgs and still yet to achieve my goal.
Lastly, I would like to convey to all women’s “keep patience, be consistent & trust the journey and always give nothing less than your best”
