I am Ria Murjani, an INFS certified fitness scholar, fitness and nutrition consultant, and the founder of Encore Fitness by Ria. My fitness journey is sweet, short, and simple. You will find traces of both sweet and spicy elements. If you had met me when I was young, you would have realized I was an active, fit, and highly confident girl! My weight was never an issue. However, after two kids and the way life plays its cards, I fell off my track and lost the confidence I once had. After my 2nd pregnancy, I reached above 90 kg.
I got in touch with a doctor for advice after my second pregnancy weight gain. I was using sleeping pills and was unhappy with my self-esteem. My doctor suggested I change my lifestyle through workout plans. I signed up on Fittr when one of my peers told me about this page. I chose Mananjit Singh as my mentor. I started my diet and workouts under his guidance on 4th November 2019. It definitely wasn’t a cakewalk.
However, through perseverance and a strong will, I succeeded! I noticed incredible results within my own physique with the transformation that I was seeking. After 6 months and a lot of thought, I decided it was a good time to upload my progress photos. My transformation goes much deeper than the physical changes you see. I exercise more and feel better every day! It was tough to unlearn and relearn my relationship with food and its effects on my body.
I got in touch with INFS and eventually won a scholarship. I gave my scholarship to charity for the greater good in life. I was declared the “best transformation of the batch” which boosted my confidence. After hours of studying and dedicating myself, I cleared my foundation course, expert exam, clinical nutrition advance course, women’s health and wellness, and others too. The support of the FITTR community and my study at INFS enabled me to overcome all the obstacles. When I started my fitness journey, I wasn’t sure how far I could go. But just after a year with some failures and lots of achievements, I am here.
With online coaching, I have been able to help many housewives regain their confidence. It is overwhelming when my clients call me up and tell me how confident they feel now.
I cannot thank all around me who have contributed to this journey, especially my husband, Fittr, and INFS. I look forward to supporting others around me who are going through a similar phase as mine. You can accept your physique and body type, making small changes in your lifestyle to improve your life and be the best possible version of yourself. As a personal trainer, I strive to inspire others to inculcate a healthy eating and fitness regime. Bring in lifestyle changes today. Even if it’s a small change, it will be worth it in the long run! I have no desire to be a fitness model or even achieve that ‘perfect’ body.

Being consistent and making small changes in your lifestyle goes a long way. Baby steps lead to substantial long-term benefits through diet, water intake and workouts. When you start incorporating these adjustments into your life, you create a balance within, making you a happier person. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and how far every one of you will too!
