INFS alumnus – Priyanka Jhunjhunwala is truly a master at efficiently handling multiple responsibilities while working as a strength and conditioning personal trainer. Alongside being a mother of two amazing kids, she is making every effort to positively impact the lives of many. She is a certified exercise science specialist by INFS as well as a Zumba, Pilates, and dance instructor with eight years of experience.
Priyanka is a gold medallist in BE and MBA Marketing and started off like any other corporate professional. But then, driven by her passion, she stepped into the fitness industry.
Today, Priyanka not only has a dream career but she also makes a really good remuneration due to her career choice. She is one of the highest-earning fitness coaches at Fittr. She earns a good salary package by following her passion. Her work involves coaching clients on the importance of right nutrition, creating customised workout routines, spreading awareness about the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle etc.

Leaving the Desk Job
Priyanka had always been active ever since her childhood. So, after her second child’s birth, when she realized her stamina is depleting and she is getting tired very easily, she decided to onboard her fitness journey and gain back her energetic self.
She started enjoying the whole process to such an extent that she went for a Zumba certification and successfully completed it. Then arrived the decision to quit the desk job as Priyanka was determined to start her own fitness classes. Completing the required certifications, she achieved her goal and hasn’t looked back since then!
Valuable Lesson from INFS
Priyanka says that INFS is a place where you don’t just learn about the fitness and exercise sciences but also receive many other valuable lessons. One such lesson came from INFS Founding Director’s strong words – Knowledge is Power. Priyanka strongly believes that knowledge gives us the strength to overcome the past, to change our own situations, to fight new obstacles, and to make better decisions. In a world where thousands of opportunities and possibilities are revolving around us, to capture them, we need the power of knowledge.
Overcoming Anxiety and Depression
Priyanka has been through hormonal imbalance that is associated with anxiety and depression. But, her work as a personal trainer helped her fight it all and come out as a winner. Being a fitness coach, she exercises regularly and that keeps her muscles, bones, and joints strong and functioning well. It improves her memory and brain functioning.
Working as a personal trainer has not only helped her in managing her weight but has also improved her sleep quality. Overall, being a coach has helped her lead a healthy and happy life.
Juggling Several Responsibilities
Online personal training works just right for Priyanka. Working from home (pandemic or not), making her own schedule, balancing home, giving kids enough time, and attending to in-laws’ needs – Priyanka is able to shoulder all her responsibilities very efficiently while working as an online fitness coach. Her day starts with a cup of black coffee and her sessions keep going throughout the day according to planned slots.
This gives her enough time, helping her balance her work and personal life. In the evening after wrapping up all her sessions, she completes her workout. To finish the day, she reads something every day before sleeping as she is always hungry for knowledge.
Priyanka meets clients from all over the world each day and has established a great relationship with them. She has achieved this by putting in the required amount of time, committing to a schedule, and by being disciplined.
Source of Motivation
Since childhood, Priyanka has been empathetic and had always wanted to help people in their lives. Her current profession helps her achieve just that! Being a personal trainer, she is helping people lead their best lives by supporting them in developing and practicing good health habits.
Priyanka makes sure that she guides her clients not only to become physically fit but also mentally healthy as she believes that these two are closely associated with each other. Watching her client’s life improve with regular exercise gives her immense pleasure and keeps her motivated to keep doing what she does day in, day out.
In the next five years, Priyanka aims to run her own offline and online fitness studio with a very good team of dedicated professionals.

“Bear the dedication to turn your passion into your profession. You will never regret it as you’ll be doing something that makes you happy, and when you are happy, you will try to be better and more successful at it. The fitness industry is incredibly diverse and your career can be highly rewarding. The industry is continuously growing, and you can be your own boss with a flexible work schedule. Your own fitness becomes your bonus working as a fitness professional.”
