Until She Found Hope and Rebuilt Herself: Neha’s Journey

“You’ve just had a baby, of course, you’re tired.”

It’s what every new mom hears. And for a while, it feels like the truth. The exhaustion. The sleepless nights. The sudden weight gain. The mood swings. The swollen body that no longer feels like yours. It’s all brushed off as “normal.”

But sometimes, it’s not just the baby blues or leftover baby weight. Sometimes, it’s your body trying to tell you something’s wrong. And because we’re told to just “push through it,” most women ignore the signs until their body starts to push back harder.

That’s exactly where Neha Jha found herself, lost in a body that never felt hers, weighed down by fatigue that sleep couldn’t fix, and stuck in a cycle of effort without results. But her story doesn’t end there. In fact, that’s exactly where it begins.

When Your Body Betrays You

Like many new moms, Neha believed she was doing the right thing. She thought post-pregnancy meant eating more to stay strong for the baby, and that exhaustion was part of the process. What she didn’t know was that hypothyroidism was quietly taking over her system.

By the time she went for her tests, her TSH levels were over 100! A dangerously high number. And suddenly, everything made sense. The relentless fatigue, the stubborn weight gain, the mental fog, the crashing energy..

Even basic movement felt heavy. Just walking a few steps left her breathless. While others bounced back, Neha was sinking deeper into frustration.

Desperation Over Discipline

Determined not to be defeated, Neha went all in.

She threw herself into daily HIIT workouts, hoping to sweat the fat away and reclaim her old body. She punished herself through grueling sessions, believing this was the only way to “bounce back.”

But nothing changed. The “mommy pooch” stuck around. The scale didn’t move. The energy never returned. Instead of feeling stronger, she started resenting her workouts. What started as motivation quickly turned into misery. She was giving her all and getting nothing back.

The Turning Point

Then in 2021, Neha came across FITTR. She immediately signed up with a coach, and for the first time, someone listened. Someone understood what she was going through, her condition, her lifestyle, and tailored a plan that actually worked for her. No more random workouts. No more starvation diets. No more guessing games. She learned how to eat right, how to train smart, and how to respect her body’s needs.

And just like that, her body responded. She lost weight. Her energy returned. Her strength increased. And, she saw her abs for the first time!

Neha realized how many other women were fighting in the dark, struggling with fatigue, confused by misinformation, stuck in toxic cycles of crash diets and punishing workouts. She wanted to be the guide she wished she had when she was struggling.

So she enrolled in the Diploma in Nutrition and Fitness by INFS, determined to turn her pain into purpose.

Grief, Grit, and Grace

But, just six months into her course, Neha was hit by the unimaginable; she lost her father.

Grief came like a storm. The thought of quitting crossed her mind more than once. Because what’s the point of chasing dreams when your heart is breaking?

But in her quietest moments, she could still hear his voice, encouraging her to move forward, to not give up, to finish what she started. Even when her health dipped. Even when she kept falling sick. Even when showing up felt like the hardest thing.

She kept going, pushing herself. And she cleared her final interviews on the very first attempt.

Lifting Heavy, Living Fully, and Thriving as a Fitness Coach

Today after 1.5 years, Neha is thriving. She’s stronger, healthier, and lifting heavier than ever before. But her real strength? It’s in the way she shows up for others. As a certified FITTR coach, Neha is now the voice of reason for so many people stuck where she once was. She helps them find balance, build consistency, and most importantly, show themselves compassion.

Because if there’s one thing she’s learned, it’s:
“Fitness isn’t about suffering. It’s about the right balance.”

So, if you’re reading this and thinking:
“I’m too tired.”
“I’ve tried everything.”
“This body isn’t mine anymore.”

Let Neha’s story be your reminder: You’re not alone. Your body is not the enemy, it’s been through more than you give it credit for. You don’t need to do more. You need to do what works for you.

And yes, even you can feel strong, confident, and vibrant again.
