Reclaiming Fitness and Finding Purpose as a Coach

Were you into sports during school but lost your active lifestyle over the years? INFS scholar Rushal Satghare went through the same struggle. Once a passionate athlete, he found himself drifting away from fitness. But his journey back to health not only reignited his love for sports but also gave his life a new purpose as a nutrition and fitness coach.

Losing Touch With Fitness

As a child, Rushal was deeply involved in sports. He even competed at the state level, always staying active and fit. But things changed when he reached his 12th grade. The pressure of studies took over. Sports, which had once been a big part of his daily life, became less frequent, and fitness slowly took a backseat.

Over the next four years, things got worse. His sleep schedule was irregular, and his eating habits became unhealthy. This change didn’t just affect him physically—it also impacted his mental well-being. He felt low on energy, lacked motivation, and knew deep down that he wasn’t living the life he once had. It was a frustrating cycle. And he knew something had to change.

Taking the First Step – Getting Introduced to INFS!

Determined to take control of his health, Rushal started small. He began with home workouts, focusing on basic exercises to get his body moving again. He also made small changes to his diet, avoiding junk food and making healthier choices.

At first, it wasn’t easy. Progress was slow, and there were days when he felt like giving up. But he reminded himself why he started—to feel better, to regain his strength, and to bring fitness back into his life. Slowly, he built a routine and joined the gym. As he stayed consistent, he began seeing results, and his energy levels improved.

In January 2023, Rushal was introduced to INFS by one of his aunt’s students. It immediately caught his interest. He knew that this was the next step in his journey. Without hesitation, he enrolled in the INFS Diploma in Nutrition and Fitness.

Diving Deeper Into Knowledge

The Diploma provided him with science-backed knowledge about diet, exercise, and overall wellness. Everything he learned helped him not just improve his own health but also guide others in their fitness journeys.

What helped him the most beyond the lectures and books was the INFS Scholars group. It was a treasure trove of knowledge for him, filled with insightful discussions that deepened his understanding and allowed him to learn from the experiences of others.

Transforming Lives as a FITTR Coach

Rushal’s transformation didn’t just impact him—it also made a difference in his family. His aunt, who earlier was a client of the Free Training Program (FTP), lost a total of 15 kgs, with improved overall lifestyle under Rushal’s guidance. His mother, who had never been into fitness before, now exercises regularly and leads an active lifestyle.

As a coach, Rushal understands the struggles that come with losing fitness and trying to get back on track. He has been there. That’s why he focuses on coaching his mentees with empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of what it takes to make lasting changes.

His message to everyone is simple: “Just start your journey and let the other aspects of your life follow.”
