As an Ayurvedic physician, Dr. Vibha Agrawal had years of medical expertise, yet her most valuable lessons came not in the clinic but in the quiet moments at home—where she fought for her son’s health.
Her experience as a doctor helped her understand the complexities of the human body, but it was her determination as a mother that led her down an unexpected path of discovery. Here’s her journey.
Battles for Her Son’s Health
The moment her son was born, Dr. Vibha dreamed of raising a strong and healthy child like any mother would. But those dreams were challenged when her son was diagnosed with a serious health condition. His gut was too weak to digest high-protein foods, and for up to three years, his body struggled with proper digestion.
Despite seeking advice from top medical experts, nothing seemed to help. She followed every recommendation, tried different approaches, and hoped for progress, but her son’s condition remained the same. Watching her child suffer was heartbreaking, and she felt helpless.
But as a mother, giving up on her child was never an option.
Taking Matters in Her Own Hands
Relying on her background in Ayurveda and nutrition, she started making small changes, carefully introducing gentle carbs and healthy fats while limiting protein initially to support his digestion.
She monitored his progress closely, making adjustments as needed. Each small improvement gave her more confidence, and over time, her son’s health started to recover. Slowly, he was able to digest food better, gain strength, and enjoy a more balanced diet.
Seeing her son’s transformation ignited a new passion in Dr. Vibha. She realized how powerful nutrition could be when applied correctly. This experience deepened her interest in health and wellness, pushing her to learn more so she could continue making the right choices for her family.
Struggling With Her Own Health
While she was focused on her son’s recovery, Dr. Vibha had been ignoring her own health. She struggled with hypothyroidism, constant fatigue, and a general sense of lethargy. Despite being a doctor, she found herself stuck in the same cycle as many others—putting her health last while managing daily responsibilities.
Determined to make a lasting change for herself and her family, Dr. Vibha decided to enroll in the INFS Diploma in Nutrition and Fitness. At the same time, she started working with a FITTR coach. With proper guidance, structured nutrition, and a fitness plan, she finally began seeing results. She lost 13 kgs, regained her energy, and felt stronger than she had in years.
Becoming a Guide for Others as a Coach
Today, Dr. Vibha is more focused, energized, and passionate than ever. Her son now healthily consumes protein and enjoys a well-balanced diet alongside her.
As a doctor and a coach, she understands that every person is different, and she wants to guide people toward realistic, long-term changes that fit their unique lifestyles. Her advice? “Start with what you can. Each small change leads to a healthier, happier life.”
