Vaibhav Bansal started his fitness journey with several nutrition and exercise myths that sounded very believable. This ultimately led him to gain more fat, taking him far away from his goals.
Here, Vaibhav shares his journey from being a skinny kid who was often ridiculed in school, to becoming a confident and knowledgeable fitness coach who is dedicated to making a positive impact in others’ lives.

A Struggle for Confidence
Hi! I’m Vaibhav Bansal, a businessman and a fitness enthusiast with 5 years of experience in the industry. Growing up, I was always on the skinnier side, which often led to a lot of bullying and body-shaming from my friends and family. This made me feel less confident about myself and soon, I decided to hit the gym. Even though my family wasn’t quite happy about it, I had a goal in mind, and I was determined.
Missteps Along the Way
In my early days of working out, I lacked proper knowledge about nutrition and fitness. Misguided by common fitness myths, I started consuming weight gain shakes, believing they would help me bulk up. However, these shakes were mostly empty calories, and instead of gaining muscle, I ended up putting on more body fat. Living in the small town of Tosham in Haryana, it was difficult to find like-minded people who shared my passion for fitness or could offer proper guidance at that time.
A Turning Point
Things changed when my cousin introduced me to the INFS Diploma in Nutrition and Fitness. I enrolled, and it was a game-changer! The course helped me clear all the myths and misconceptions that had been holding me back. I learned about proper nutrition, the science behind fitness and exercises, and how to effectively implement these to achieve my fitness goals.
I carefully started planning my diet and workout routines based on these scientific principles. This started yielding results, and I gradually saw my body transform. I gained muscle, lost fat, and most importantly, felt healthier and more confident than ever!
Helping Others and Learning on the Way
Today, I am proud to be a part of the FITTR community. Being surrounded by like-minded people who are equally passionate about fitness is incredibly motivating. My journey has taught me that it doesn’t matter where you come from; what matters is your determination to achieve something and the effort you put in. With the right knowledge and guidance, anyone can transform the way they want.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a coach is the opportunity to help others. My goal is to offer the guidance and support that I didn’t have during the initial phase of my fitness journey. I want to help others avoid the mistakes I made, and help them achieve their fitness goals effectively and efficiently.
